Account Opening Preview
Note: Figures 1-7 are illustrative, not functional. Many links in these illustrations will not work.
To open an account at the bottom is functional.
The Account Opening process consists of a few windows.
- Basic information
is entered on a form that looks like figure 1.
- Then you are asked to enter a Username and Password to enable you to access the record
inventory on your web site (see figure 2).
- If the Username you chose is accepted (no duplicates allowed), figure 3
will be returned. Click it to continue. Your account will automatically have
two SearchThePlace records created. The name you enter in the basic information
window (figure 1) will create a record that can be found with a SearchThePlace
name search.
- You will need to decide on the general classification
(products, services, etc.) that you want to be found in (see figure 4).
- Then the category selection(s) you make (see
figure 5) will automatically create the second SearchThePlace
record. It would display your business or activity in a category search.
What you enter in the Description area is what will describe your business
or activity to visitors.
- The Invoice (see figure 6) completes
the Account Opening process.
At this point, SearchThePlace visitors could find your web site before you
even enter your inventory (see figure 7).
