Have you had enough?
The chances are you and I agree on at least one thing. The Constitution was supposed to limit the power of government. The Social Contract is all about voluntary agreement, not forced obedience. Laws steal your choices. They limit your pursuit of happiness. They make you do things you would not want to do if you were free. They make you obey. How obedient have you become? Isn’t it time to resist?
Somebody once advised that if you continue to do things the same old way, you should not expect different results. Republicans and Democrats have things under control. Pork distribution, back-room deals, and Gerrymandering ensure success in keeping safe political districts. If you have been expecting either of them to change, you have probably been disappointed for a while. If you still expect them to change, you can expect to be disappointed for a while longer. If you expect ‘politics as usual’ or ‘other people’ to stop legislating away your pursuit of happiness your frustrations are likely to continue. The pressure to tax, regulate, and control will increase as the consequences worsen and quality of life declines. Resistance is not futile.
It is necessary. Those who wrote the Constitution took great care to limit government. Yet, now government is pervasive, intrusive and overpowering. So, what are your alternatives? If you don’t like rules made for you to obey, and all the other political parties want to make you more obedient, what have you got to lose with us? Only the Libertarian Party does not want to limit yourchoices. All the others want to impose their choices on you and prohibit or limit your own choices for happiness. What do you have when you have no choice?
Become a political venture capitalist. Join The Resistance. Get liberated instead of regulated. What do you have to lose except more of your ability to choose? _______
